Free audit
Free certificate of insurance audit: see your gaps in 2 minutes
Paste or upload your subcontractor list with each policy’s expiration date. The tool instantly sorts every vendor into covered, expiring within 30 days, expired or missing, and builds a gap report you can download. Nothing leaves your browser until you choose to send it for a human review.
What does the audit tell you?
It shows which subcontractors have current general liability and workers’ compensation, which expire in the next 30 days, which already lapsed and which have no date on file. That is the same triage a human reviewer does first.
What happens to the data you paste?
The report is built entirely in your browser. If you click “Send for human review”, only then is the summary submitted to us. See our security page.
What the audit cannot tell you
Dates alone do not prove coverage. A current date on a list does not confirm limits, endorsements or that the policy is in force. The human review reads the actual certificates for that.
What you get from the audit
- A list of subs with expired coverage today.
- A list of subs whose coverage ends in the next 30 days.
- A list of subs with no date at all, so you know who to chase first.
It runs in your browser. Nothing is sent unless you ask for a human review. If you want help, we can chase the gaps for you. See pricing; up to 12 subs is free.
Frequently asked questions
What format should my list be in?
Four columns work best: subcontractor name, trade, general liability expiration date and workers’ compensation expiration date. The tool accepts comma or tab separated text and pasted spreadsheet rows.
Is the free audit really free?
Yes. The in-browser gap report has no signup. The optional human review is also free and carries no obligation.
